SAN DIEGO, CA, April 13, 2006 – The 2006 Acura Classic, to be held July 29 - August 6 at the La Costa Resort & Spa, today announced that individual tickets for the tournament will go on sale May 15th. The tournament also announced that advance sales of ticket packages are up by 8% over last year’s tournament sales. In addition, to give fans more options the tournament has begun offering several new packages including a Weekend Box Package and Weekday Tented Skybox Packages.
According to tournament owner Jane Stratton, box seats are selling particularly well. While the VIP Terrace section is already sold out, there is still availability in the Gold and Classic Box Seat sections around the court.
Tuesday, August 1st has been designated as Group Day at the Acura Classic. Fans attending either the Day Session or Night Session in groups of ten or more will receive a 50% discount on reserved grandstand seating.

USTA members can preorder their tickets over the phone or via the internet on May 8th. Free parking for attendees will be available for opening weekend on Saturday and Sunday, July 29th and 30th.
