- Your Creative T-Shirt Design Could Become
an Official 2007 Acura Classic T-Shirt --
SAN DIEGO, CA, June 20, 2007 – Are you a tennis fan with
a creative side? The 2007 Acura Classic, to be held July 28 - August
5 at the La Costa Resort & Spa, is now accepting entries in
its annual “Main Draw” T-Shirt contest, searching for
a high-impact T-Shirt design to help inspire fans. The Grand Prize
winner will not only have his or her design featured on an official
tournament T-shirt, but will also receive four tickets for any weekday
session of the tournament between Monday, July 30 and Friday, August
3. In addition to the complimentary tickets, the winner will also
receive 5 official tournament T-shirts featuring his or her design.
The winning T-shirt and photo will also be featured on the tournament
web site (www.acuraclassic.com).
Here’s how the 2007 Acura Classic “Main Draw”
T-Shirt Contest works: Just visit the Acura Classic website (www.acuraclassic.com),
where you will be guided to the T-shirt contest page. Then let your
creative side shine through and design an original Acura Classic
T-Shirt. T-Shirt creations can be either hand-drawn or designed
on a computer program (i.e. Adobe, Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc.)
All ages may participate. Entrants must include their name, age,
address, day and night telephone numbers, along with a brief description
of how and why his or her design was created. All T-shirt designs
become the property of Promotion Sports, Inc. and submissions will
not be returned. Deadline for submissions is Friday, June 29, 2007.
Now in its 24th year, the Acura Classic is one of the premier events
on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and one of the largest women’s
tennis tournaments in the world. Among the top players scheduled
to compete at the 2007 Acura Classic are four multiple Grand Slam
champions, including Justine Henin, Maria Sharapova, Martina Hingis
and Serena Williams, as well as this year’s French Open finalist,
Ana Ivanovic.
